12TH YEAR OF THE INSTITUT PAUL BOCUSE WORLDWIDE ALLIANCE
For the 12th consecutive year, the Institut Paul Bocuse Worldwide Alliance welcomes 48 students of 14 nationalities to Lyon.
Institut Paul Bocuse Worldwide Alliance
In 2004, the Institut Paul Bocuse created the Institut Paul Bocuse Worldwide Alliance, which today brings together 16 partners from 14 countries. Among them, some of the best catering management and culinary schools and universities in the world: Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Finland, France, Greece, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, Peru, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United States.
On Monday 2 May, 48 international students joined Château du Vivier in Ecully for a unique 14-week course in the heart of the international city of gastronomy. This experience will include practical and theoretical work, demonstrations, tastings and visits.
Moreover, the class of 2016 is honoured to welcome gourmets and foodies to the experimental restaurant “Le Living Lab”
Le Living Lab
The international students of the Institut Paul Bocuse Worldwide Alliance invite you to take part in a unique experience at the experimental restaurant and research centre. For six weeks, the students, divided into baking, cooking, pastry and service teams, will be delighted to offer you an exclusive dining experience, with a selection that will appeal to all the senses, not just taste.
14 nationalities, seasonal cuisine, local produce and French culinary techniques! This cultural and gastronomic blend will enable the Alliance’s young chefs to create lasting memories of Lyon and to take a piece of the ‘Lyonnais savoir-faire’ home with them.
